HARIS KOUTRAS
BSc (Hons) Podiatry
MSc Trauma & Orthopaedics of Lower Limb
Haris Koutras received his podiatric degree at University of Salford. He has then been offered a scholarship to continue his academic studies with a Master degree in Trauma and Orthopaedics of the lower limb to specialise in musculoskeletal/sports injuries. He has many years of experience working in in National Health Service (NHS) and private clinics. To his credit, Haris Koutras was registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is qualified with additional entitlements of Prescribing Medicines and Administrating Local Anaesthetics. His goal is to provide the highest level of podiatric care with unsurpassed dedication to each of his patients.

COMMON CONDITIONS
Flat Feet
It occurs when a person has a very low or non-existent arch in the foot. In many cases, a pelmatography scan and fitted orthotics are indicated.
Ingrowing
Toenail
It is common problem where the nail grows into the skin. Many treatment options are available including conservative and surgical care by the podiatrist.
Plantar
Fasciitis
It is a disorder of the connective tissue which lies under the foot. It can be treated using insoles and in some cases injection therapies.
Verrucas/
Warts
It is caused by a virus. A very common and highly effective treatment is the cryosurgery.
Diabetic
Foot
It refers to people who have diabetes and may experience foot problems such as injuries, infections, ulcers, deformities.
Infections
It included infections that affecting the skin and nails. In some cased a Photodynamic Laser therapy is used to treat them.
